Writing in from Boulder, Colorado. This is a unique time for musicians. Almost all of my friends have either lost their jobs or are moving back home. My time in Mexico playing with the Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de Mexico was cut short to only a month due to the virus and I have moved back home. Not all news is sad though.. I have been spending time with family, riding my bike, and even got to ski the mountain by my parents house. Classes have been continuing on zoom. I have been putting together videos for virtual performances and birthdays and continuing to teach online. This is a strange time and I hope that we all use it as an opportunity to take care of our families, friends, reach out to those you care about and continue to listen to or create music. Cheers!
